Di finally gets up her nerve so instead of hiding in the woods, she walks down the road and crosses paths with the teacher who is walking the school children home. She gets so flustered and nervous that she sets her basket down. As she walks by him, he says hello and she glowingly smiles at him and keeps walking. The teacher calls for her and when she turns around he is pointing at the basket she left in the road. She embarrassingly walks back to him and he reaches down and hands her the basket.
