Artist Bio:
Zhi-Fang was born in southern China and worked as a literature teacher as her first career before moving to Xi’an in the year 1963. She became an accountant in Xi’an Academy of Fine Arts while absorbing the art and cultural of philosophy, fine brush painting, watercolor, and calligraphy. In the year 1995, Zhi-Fang moved to California with her family after retirement but still kept the passion for art and literature. You can find this mid-eighties year old grandmother savoring the golden moments of her life through daily tai chi practice and artist expressions.

In these 12" x 18" one of a kind, unframed watercolor pieces of birds and flowers, Zhi-Fang communicates to us the golden moments we often overlook and she urges us to pay attention to this subtle untouched beauty of everyday wonders.
